Turn an idea into a video worth watching
ClipSpell writes the script, records the voiceover, animates the captions to the word, composes the motion graphics and renders the file — then checks the result before it reaches you.

How it works
From an idea to a finished video in four steps
You describe it and choose the look. ClipSpell does the making and the checking, and you decide what goes out.
- 01
Describe it
A topic, or a script you already wrote. Pick the platform and a length of up to 2 minutes (30 seconds for the Free plan’s test video); everything else starts on a sensible default.
- 02
Choose the look
A format, an art style, a caption style and a music mood — or leave each one on its default.
- 03
ClipSpell creates it
The script, a voiceover timed to the word, the pictures, the captions and the cut, on our servers. Close the tab and it keeps going.
- 04
Review and publish
Quality checks run before you see it. Read the script, redo a scene if one is off, then download it or publish it.
Video styles
A format for every niche, and a look for every format
9 formats, each with its own brief to the writer and a music mood to match. Or write your own brief, or bring a finished script.
Documentary & history
Told as a story with a turn, anchored on specific people, places and dates.

7 art styles, or matched to the format
Leave it on the default and the format decides the look. Name a character once and the same build and clothes carry through every scene.
Comic ink
Bold ink outlines and flat colour, one scene filling the frame.
Watercolour
Loose washes on visible paper. Soft edges, limited palette.
Flat vector
Clean geometric shapes and two-tone shading. No texture, no gradients.
Graphic noir
High-contrast ink in black and white with one accent colour.
Storybook
Soft gouache and rounded forms. Warm and unthreatening.
Retro print
Mid-century screen print: a few spot colours, slightly off register.
Pencil
Graphite on off-white paper. Hatching rather than colour.
This is what lands on the beat
Three of the caption styles, animating here in your browser from the same preset values the renderer burns into the file — the size against the frame, the colour of the spoken word, the pill’s padding, the milliseconds the pop takes to rise and settle. The cadence is the one thing that is not from a render: these words are on a fixed beat, because there is no voice here. In a video they follow yours.
Why ClipSpell
Built for the part that usually goes wrong
Most of the work in a faceless video is not generation. It is timing, legibility and catching the render that came out silent or black.
Speed
Minutes, not an evening
A render takes minutes, on our servers. Close the tab; the project page names each stage as it finishes.
Quality
Checked before you see it
Every render is probed for black frames, silent audio, captions outside the safe area and the wrong length. A vertical video comes out at 1080 × 1920.
Simplicity
A topic is enough
Everything past the topic starts on a sensible default. Script, voice, pictures, captions, cut and checks run as one pipeline.
Control
Every choice stays yours
9 formats, 9 tones, 7 art styles and 7 caption styles, 9 voices. Bring your own script, or redo one scene without redoing the video.
Automation
It can keep going
A series makes the next video on a schedule you set, from once a week to twice a day. Recurring series come with the Creator and Studio plans.
Write the script, read it aloud with a stopwatch, cut it until it fits.
Record the voiceover, re-record the lines you fluffed, line the words up with the cuts.
Type the captions, style them, drag them off the platform’s buttons.
Watch the export back looking for the black frame or the silent second.
Change one shot, re-export the whole video, wait again.
Write a caption and a set of hashtags for every post.
Upload the file to each app by hand.
Remember to make the next one, every day.
The script is written to the length you asked for, and the finished video is as long as the narration actually turned out to be.
Narration is synthesised and the timeline is compiled from the measured audio, so no scene cuts while the voice is still speaking.
Word-level captions, burned in as real subtitles, laid out against each platform’s safe area and checked before anything is encoded.
Black frames, silent audio, captions outside the safe area and a dozen other faults are probed automatically, and the report is on the project page.
Redraw a single scene and only that scene is regenerated before the re-encode. The previous cut is kept, and can be downloaded but not restored.
A description and hashtags are written with the script and filled in when you publish.
Posts to YouTube, TikTok (as a draft) and Instagram (testers only) through each platform’s official API, now or at a time you choose. Connected accounts come with the Starter, Creator and Studio plans.
A series makes the next video on schedule, and pauses itself after three failures in a row.
What doing it yourself takes
- A chat assistant to write the script, then cut it to length
- A voice generator to record it, line by line
- An image generator to draw every scene, one prompt at a time
- A video editor to line the pictures up with the voice
- A caption tool to type, time and style the words
- A scheduler to post it, and to remember to
Six tools to learn, and you move the files between them.

Automation
A series that runs itself
Pick a cadence and a time. The next video is made on schedule, in your own timezone, whether or not you are there.

Your clock, not ours

Publishing waits for you
Auto-publish is off until you switch it on. Until then each video is made and waits for you.
It stops before it wastes credits
Three failures in a row pause the series instead of spending in silence.
You see the cost first
The form shows the credits a week at that pace, and how many weeks your balance covers.

What ClipSpell does with your YouTube account
When you connect a YouTube channel, ClipSpell asks Google for two permissions and nothing broader: to upload the videos you choose to publish, and to read which channel you connected, whether an uploaded video has finished processing, and the view, like and comment counts of the videos ClipSpell uploaded, which your Analytics page shows.
ClipSpell only uploads and reads: it never edits, hides or deletes anything already on your channel. This data is used only for those features: it is not sold, not used for advertising, not used to train AI models, and not passed to anyone except as needed to make the upload. You can disconnect at any time in ClipSpell or in your Google account’s security settings. How this data is stored and deleted is in our Privacy Policy.

FAQ
Questions, answered
Straight answers, from the product rather than from a brochure.
How long does a video take to make?
Minutes, not hours. It runs on our servers, so you can close the tab; the project page names each stage as it finishes.
Which languages does it speak?
English, in 9 American and British voices. For now, write the topic in English too.
Where can it post?
Through each platform’s official API, now or at a time you schedule. Connected accounts come with the Starter, Creator and Studio plans. YouTube publishes for any account you connect. TikTok delivers the video into your drafts, and you publish it from the app. Instagram works only for accounts added as testers, until the platform approves ClipSpell for everyone. You can render and download whatever the platforms say, and the connections page repeats this per platform rather than offering a button that cannot work.
Publishing, in detailWho owns the videos?
You do. We claim no ownership of your scripts, narration, scenes or finished videos, and no right to publish or resell them.
Terms, section 6Do credits expire?
No. Unused credits stay on your workspace for as long as the account is open.
What if a render fails?
It costs nothing. Work that fails releases its hold, and a render that fails quality control returns its credits in full.
What is not finished

The recurring character holds a build, a costume, a palette and, in most shots, a face: the reference is shown to the illustrator together with a face adapter, so the same man or woman comes back scene after scene. A face too small to see in a wide shot, or a profile drawn from a front-facing reference, can still drift, and a scene with the character takes longer to draw. Name nobody and each scene invents its own figure.
Stated plainly here because finding it out after signing up would be worse.
